Unpledged Add-On Delegates—2 Delegates
Unpledged Add-On Delegates are Selected by the DPW Administrative Committee at State Convention on June 13, 2008. To be considered, submit the Delegate Intent form by May 23, 2008 at 5:00pm.
Pledged Party Leader and Elected Official (PLEO)—10 Delegates
PLEO Delegates are Selected by the DPW Administrative Committee at State Convention on June 13, 2008. To be considered, submit the Delegate Intent form by May 23, 2008 at 5:00pm. In this category, Sen. Obama will receive 6 delegates. Sen. Clinton will receive 4. Preference is given to candidates in the following order:
Big City Mayors and Statewide Elected Officials
Legislative Leadership
State Legislators
Party Leaders and other Elected Officials
At-Large Delegates and
Alternates—16 Delegates, 4 Alternates
At-Large Delegates are Selected by the DPW Administrative Committee at State Convention on June 13, 2008. To be considered, submit the Delegate Intent form by May 23, 2008 at 5:00pm. Preference will be given to traditionally under-represented groups, to ensure that every effort is made to meet the goals set by the Affirmative Action Plan. In this category, Sen. Obama will receive 9 delegates and 2 alternates. Sen. Clinton will receive 7 delegates and 2 alternates.
