Something in the paper yesterday really scared me -- Mitt Romney’s choice of Paul Ryan as his running mate was referred to as part of the “Wisconsin takeover of the world.”

It's true: Mitt Romney really has picked Rep. Paul Ryan as his running mate, and they're ready to double down on the failed policies of the past.

After accomplishing very little once again, Congress is leaving Washington, D.C. Friday for its August recess- a five week, taxpayer-funded vacation.
