Scott Walker Kills Women's Cancer Screening Program

Nothing is more important to me, or any mother, than the health and well-being of my children. And I know that part of taking care of my children includes taking care of myself with breast and cervical cancer screenings.

That’s why Scott Walker and Rebecca Kleefisch’s latest attack on Wisconsin women, cutting funding for the Wisconsin Well Woman Program, has me so upset. They were able to give away billions in tax breaks to millionaires and billionaires like the Koch Brothers, but decided that Wisconsin just can’t afford to take care of our women and children.

Scott Walker's failure to create jobs

Posted 21:16PM on December 19 2011 by Ryan Alexander | User Comments (1) Categories: Recall HQ, Scott Walker | Tags: Economy, Jobs, Recall scott walker, Scott walker, Wisconsin

Since Scott Walker signed his anti-worker budget into law this June, Wisconsin has had massive jobs losses for five months in a row. The numbers show that as a direct result of Scott Walker's regressive policies, more than 34,900 Wisconsin workers have been sent to the unemployment lines.

Despite the numbers, Scott Walker continues to claim that his "reforms" are working and that the state is making "progress."

The reality is Scott Walker's so-called "tools" and "reforms" have attacked middle-class families and have led to a mass exodus of good-paying jobs. Wisconsin workers are being laid off at an alarming rate while neighboring states, such as Illinois and Minnesota, are experiencing job growth.

Out-of-state right-wing millionaires vs. the people of Wisconsin

While thousands of grassroots supporters from all over Wisconsin joined us online to announce that more than a half-million people have signed a petition to recall Scott Walker for his extreme agenda that has sent 34,900 Wisconsin workers to the unemployment line, Scott Walker quietly submitted his fundraising report to the Government Accountability Board.

Initial analysis shows that Scott Walker seized half of his $5 million from outside of Wisconsin, including a $250,000 check from mega-millionaire and right-wing extremist Bob Perry.

The ”Jobs Sessions” Were About Anything But Jobs

Posted 15:15PM on December 12 2011 by Kristian Anker-Møller | User Comments (0) Categories: Recall HQ, Scott Walker | Tags: Economy, Jobs, Recall scott walker, Scott walker, Special session

In late September, Governor Scott Walker called a third special legislative sessions that was supposed to focus on job creation. Rather than focusing on legislation that would help kick-start job creation, the Republican-controlled Legislature used the sessions to push a radical right-wing agenda that threatens Wisconsinites young and old while still remembering to cater for Big Money special interests.
