Special Guest Speakers Announced for WisDems Convention

It's not too late to register as a guest for the 2011 convention! This year's convention is the single best place to meet with Democrats before the critically important first set of recall elections July 12.

We've just announced our special guest speakers — Rep. Anthony Weiner of New York, a champion of health care reform in the house, will address the convention Friday night. He will be joined by Debbie Wasserman Schultz, Chair of the DNC.
 
On Saturday Illinois Rep. Jan Schakowsky, who serves as Chief Deputy Whip for House Democrats, and is a member of the Congressional Progressive Caucus, will address the convention.
 
That’s all in addition to our strong Wisconsin Democrats Tom Barrett, Dave Obey, and Reps. Tammy Baldwin, Gwen Moore, Ron Kind and many more who will also address the convention.
