People vs. corporate cash
By Mike Tate
While grassroots volunteers were out in neighborhoods across Wisconsin collecting more than 105,000 signatures to recall Scott Walker in the first 96 hours, Scott Walker was cashing in more big favors from the Koch brothers.
Just before our rally to recall Scott Walker at the Capitol ended, with more than 40,000 working Wisconsin folks in attendance, we learned that Scott Walker and his billionaire oil buddies purchased $1.3 million in false and misleading television ads to try and drown out our voice.
Can you help us match the $1.3 million Scott Walker received in dirty money from Charles and David Koch by making a donation of $10 or more today?
Your donation of $10 will be directly responsible for helping to print and distribute 100 recall petitions so we can collect the signatures needed to recall Scott Walker.
Scott Walker's cronies have proven time-and-again they will say or do anything to create confusion in a desparate ploy to stifle our people-powered movement. They've attempted to intimidate our volunteers with threats, they've vandalized our offices, and they've even outlined plans to destroy recall petitions.
Their dirty tricks will fail. And that's because of the strength and determination of grassroots supporters like you.
Please support the recall effort by donating $10 right now and be directly responsible for helping to print and distribute 100 recall petitions to grassroots organizers that are the collecting signatures to recall Scott Walker so we can end his assault on working families.
Scott Walker can have his $1.3 million in Koch-fueled television ads. We have you. Tens of thousands of grassroots volunteers are going door-to-door to talk to their neighbors about how Scott Walker has ripped off Wisconsin's middle class to reward his billionaire friends that contributed to his campaign.
With your grassroots donation of $10 or more, we'll take Wisconsin back for the people.
