Scott Walker to "Reorganize" $100 Million More to the Unaccountable WEDC?
Where have we heard this before?
After taking hundreds and millions of dollars out of Wisconsin's successful vocational technical colleges, universities and public schools, Scott Walker is now exploring some new jobs wallpaper to cover up his total failure to meet his 250,000 jobs "promise."
Under the convenient guise of "reorganization," the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel floated the Republican test balloon of funneling $100 million in jobs training through the scandal-plagued Wisconsin Economic Development Corp.
The paper notes the urgency given Wisconsin's recent 42nd ranking in jobs growth, a pathetic showing given that Walker promised that all his radical ideas and ethical compromises were all done in the name of jobs growth.
Now, it looks like Walker wants to throw more money at an unaccountable agency (oh, and by the way, complete with the contracting fees to Republican-connected "economic development groups.")
What a racket.
