According to the American Cancer Society, excluding cancers of the skin, breast cancer is the most frequently diagnosed cancer in women. An estimated 40,480 women and 450 men died from breast cancer in 2008, and an estimated 182,460 new cases of invasive breast cancer were diagnosed in women, plus 1,990 cases in men. 

One year ago today, Candidate Scott Walker slammed a rival budget plan that included cuts to shared revenue saying, "When local governments are unable to realize that massive amount of savings, local officials will either have to cut services or increase property taxes."

Scott Walker Republicans have shown total disregard for the working families of Wisconsin, with the greatest amount of contempt reserved for our brothers and sisters of the labor movement. After having waged a full-scale assault against labor, this bunch adds insult to a thousand injuries by hoping to preen in Labor Day parades. This is absurd.
