MADISON — J.B. Van Hollen this week completed his political tour announcing his re-election campaign for attorney general but is refusing to answer questions about new revelations of how he coordinated with a Texas Republican operative over his partisan maneuvering against health care reform.

MADISON — As the Republican primary field increased to three this week with the kick off of Candidate Dick Leinenkugel’s campaign, it appears that he’ll face fierce opposition, even before the primary in September, by the former Democratic Commerce Secretary Dick Leinenkugel. The two Leinenkugel’s are scheduled to debate this evening, over a beer in Chippewa Falls. 

MADISON-He is near the Canadian border, he was appointed a prosecutor, but Republican Congressional candidate Sean Duffy refuses to answer whether or how he would enforce the Republican anti-immigration law just passed, with strong racial connotations, in Arizona.

MADISON —In a short-lived press release that the Republican Party of Wisconsin doesn't want you to see, outgoing Wisconsin College Republicans Chair Lora Rae Anderson blasted the state party for racial intolerance, calling it too "extreme" and saying that it is "alienating a younger, more progressive generation."

MADISON– Former Secretary Dick Leinenkugel announced his support today torepeal health insurance reformwhich provides tax credits to 77,400 Wisconsin small businesses, protections for 1.3 million Wisconsin children against denial of coverage by health insurance companies for pre-existing conditions, and lower costs for 644,000 Wisconsin seniors.
