MADISON- A new billboard unveiled Monday near Milwaukee's Marquette Interchange shows that Scott Walker is "Wanted For Killing 13,000 Wisconsin Jobs."

MADISON-Following is the statement of Democratic Party of Wisconsin Chair Mike Tate following the news today that Scott Walker has successfully killed 13,000 Wisconsin jobs by ending Tommy Thompson's high-speed rail initiative.

MADISON- Proving once again that he is out of touch with the needs of his constituents, celebrity-seeking Representative Paul Ryan today voted against providing seniors a one-time payment of $250 to cover their Social Security cost of living increase. This vote against covering the Social Security cost of living increase that thousands of seniors rely on to make ends meet comes on the heels of his vote to give a budget-busting tax cut to millionaires and billionaires.

MADISON- Speaking to an audience of Milwaukee reporters Tuesday, Scott Walker defended his senior adviser who promoted a 50 percent hike in state sales tax rates and said that he does not consider increasing fees to be at all like increasing taxes.

MADISON- Having falsely campaigned on a record of fiscal responsibility, the consequences of incoming governor Scott Walker's disastrous term as Milwaukee County executive were brought into clearer focus with an embarrassing downgrade to the county's bond rating.

MADISON- At a time when many of his constituents in Racine and Janesville are struggling to keep their homes, put food on their tables, and put gas in their cars, Paul Ryan voted to add one more burden in the form of a tax hike for 98 percent of working families and small businesses.

MADISON- In a recent appearance on public television’s “Charlie Rose Show,” Wisconsin Congressman Paul Ryan touted his plans for privatizing Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid, yet failed to address the above-average unemployment rates in Janesville and Racine, or his vote against the extension of emergency unemployment benefits.

MADISON- Breaking precedent with the previous administration and keeping with a selfish political profile that put himself before all others, Scott Walker has announced that excess donations to his inaugural festivities would be seized by his party and his campaign, where previously the unused money had been donated to charity.
