MADISON-A new analysis by the nonpartisan Congressional Budget Office shows that the effort joined by Wisconsin's Republican Congressional delegation to repeal health care reform will result in the end of prescription drug coverage for seniors.

MADISON - As Tommy Thompson ponders entering the Wisconsin senate race, the Democratic Party of Wisconsin is reminding Wisconsinites that you can’t spell Tommy without L-O-B-B-Y-I-S-T.  ‘I’ stands for the title, “Influence Peddler-In-Chief,” the nickname Tommy’s earned after selling his political sway and D.C. connections to dozens of companies for over a million dollars.

MADISON - As Tommy Thompson ponders entering the Wisconsin senate race, the Democratic Party of Wisconsin is reminding Wisconsinites that you can’t spell Thompson without L-O-B-B-Y-I-S-T.  ‘Y’ stands for one question Tommy has refused to answer  – “WHY won’t Tommy Thompson say which special interests he has sold his political influence to?” Watchdog reports have counted at least 42 companies that have paid Wisconsin’s influence peddler-in-chief hundreds of thousands of dollars since leaving the Bush administration, but Thompson has time and again refused to disclose who pays him.

MADISON – In an unscripted and unplanned conversation with right-wing radio host Charlie Sykes yesterday, health insurance lobbyist Tommy Thompson once again denounced his support for the health care law he previously championed.

MADISON – A new poll released today by nonpartisan Pubic Policy Polling indicates that Paul Ryan, whose “Path to Poverty” budget dismantles Medicare and preserves corporate welfare, is now viewed unfavorably by a plurality of voters in Wisconsin.
