MADISON — The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel has reported yet another example of millionaire Ron Johnson's hypocrisy, seeking government aid before he was a political candidate for U.S. Senate despite his constant attacks against the Recovery Act as a candidate.

MADISON - After an eight-month delay and facing federal lawsuits by disability rights activists, Scott Walker sought to bury his record at his troubled mental health hospital by cynically releasing vital records at the 11th Hour.

MADISON — Three media organizations have now called out Ron Johnson for his false mailer that attacks as wasteful the same revenue bonds he used in the 1980’s to build his own business.

MADISON – Jim Steineke, candidate for the 5th Assembly District, was forced to return $2,250 in taxpayer funded Wisconsin Election Campaign Fund grant money today after it was discovered that he had broken state law by accepting contributions from political action committees on top of the maximum amount awarded under the grant. Steineke chose to keep money from political action committees and Madison party leadership.

MADISON — Multimillionaire Republican candidate Ron Johnson’s campaign is fueled by his investments in companies like BP, health insurance companies, shadowy out-of-state special interest groups, and Washington lobbyists, according to FEC reports.  Johnson has also spent over $9 million of his family fortune on his campaign and his financial disclosure form shows Johnson has up to $10 million in debt to his his own company, Pacur.  Johnson has borrowed up to $10 million in company profits at less than 1 percent interest. The disclosure form shows Johnson loaned himself up to $5 million in 2004, and up to $5 million more in 2007.

MADISON - Speaking a few miles away and just before Scott Walker is scheduled to rally with extremist Southern governors in Oak Creek, a famed women's rights activist and an African-American leader told Walker that they rejected his extremist policies.

MADISON – An avalanche of negative political advertisements, paid for with unlimited, undisclosed donations, is blanketing ten Assembly districts in Wisconsin, all connected by one common theme: former Assembly Speaker Scott Jensen.

MADISON – The Assembly Democratic Campaign Committee called on 5^th Assembly District candidate Jim Steineke to freeze his campaign spending until he returns illegal funds deposited into his account. 

MADISON – The U.S. Chamber of Commerce has doubled down with over $200,000 more in attack ads on behalf of Ron Johnson, according to records from media buyers obtained by the Democratic Party of Wisconsin. To date, the Chamber has spent $742,206 airing TV attack ads on Ron Johnson's behalf. Media reports indicate that the chamber is raising money in part from foreign sources.

MADISON – In an effort to highlight key considerations for voters in Green Bay and the Fox Valley, the Democratic Party of Wisconsin is this week continuing its You Need to Know campaign. The series will share hard facts about Republicans Garey Bies, Andre Jaque, Karl Van Roy, Chris Hanson, John Klenke and Jim Steineke, facts voters must keep in mind when they go to the polls November 2nd.
