MADISON – Throughout his 7-year stint as County Executive, Scott Walker has proposed budget after budget that contains excessive spending paid for with tax and fee hikes for Milwaukee County residents. It is clear from his 2010 budget proposal that this year will be no different. By front-loading his budget, Walker is spending the equivalent of three years of bonding in the next year – and taxpayers will be left to foot the bill.

Scott Walker: Too Extreme for Wisconsin Families

MADISON – Scott Walker joined right-wing extremists in Milwaukee on Saturday to participate in a hateful, fear-based rally aimed at preventing progress for Wisconsin families. Walker was joined by right-wing commentator Michelle Malkin and known tax cheat Joe “The Plumber” Wurzelbacher at the rally, which was sponsored by corporate-backed Americans for Prosperity.

Statement: Indiana Voter ID Law Declared Unconstitutional

Kapanke Guilty of Public Records Violations

MADISON – State Senator Dan Kapanke (R-La Crosse) acknowledged his violations of state Public Records law today, putting an end to the politician’s three-month scheme to conceal and destroy evidence of illegal campaign activities. The admission, which came in a settlement agreement filed this morning in Dane County Circuit Court, asserts that Kapanke accepts full responsibility for breaking the law.
