WisDems Chair Tate Statement on Secretary Leinekugel (4/23/10)

 MADISON — Democratic Party of Wisconsin Chair Mike Tate released the following statement today in response to former Commerce Secretary Richard Leinekugel’s expected announcement of his run for Senate.

"We look forward to hearing Secretary Leinenkugel explain to voters why he supported the stimulus, high-speed rail, clean energy legislation and stem cell research and then walked away from his own support. People are going to ask themselves whether this guy has any convictions and whether they can believe anything he says."
