Scott Walker Jobs-Killing Begins
MADISON – The company that was set to create some of the thousands of jobs out of the high-speed rail project says that Scott Walker's chief economic proposal, to end the rail plan first proposed by Tommy Thompson, would result in the company moving out of Wisconsin.
A spokesman for the company says, "I don't think that's what the new governor wants."
We wouldn't be so sure.
Having killed Milwaukee County's jobs-creation office, Scott Walker ran on a vow to kill the rail project and send the already-allocated $810 million to states like Florida or Virginia.
