Despite being nowhere near a solution to correct the abysmal failures at Scott Walker’s flagship jobs agency, the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation, Walker Republicans yesterday voted to give the unaccountable, scandal-plagued agency millions more in taxpayer funds -- including money to spend on a national marketing campaign that coincides with Scott Walker’s presidential campaign.

WisconsinEye is reporting that Republican state Rep. Jeff Stone is calling for Scott Walker’s flagship agency, the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation, to comply with state law, calling it a “top priority,” after yesterday voting against a resolution that would have required WEDC to do just that.

The lack of execution at the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation, Scott Walker’s flagship agency, could be harming other economic development efforts in the state.
